Mostly the creative work I do is with thread or yarn--sewing, felting, knitting, weaving. However, I also have a big box of torn-out magazine pages and I like to cut and paste.
I have a book called Soul Collage. The book tries to make collaging all new-age--talking about intuition, archetypes and council cards.
I'm willing to give a name to my collages and to do a little meditation on their meaning. But that's about it.
This card was made last Friday. I think it's name is "Delight" and I love the muted colors of the woman and the drape of her dress. I don't like the egg and I'm not sure why it ended up in the composition and why it's at an angle. This is not one of my best works.
I have a stack of rectangular cards--5"x8" matboard--that I use as the inspiration strikes. Unlike most of what I make, these small works are just for me.
