A Bit More about Halloween to Distract Me from Tomorrow

While looking for the photos I used yesterday, I ran across a few others that are only slightly off-topic for November 3rd. These are some of the Halloween costumes that my mom made for me when I was young.

My mom was a great seamstress. Many a special event was saved by the perfect dress or skirt or costume, handmade first on her green Singer and then on her Viking, which she bought at the Deschutes County Fair.

What struck me about these photos was how cute the costumes were. And how age appropriate she made everything.
