Where's Arlo?

That's right. Finally, our guy is getting his "socially responsible operation." (As a friend once referred to his own vasectomy.)

As recently as yesterday, The Artist was still campaigning to delay the procedure, citing how awesome Arlo is. And it's true that he's physically beautiful, mentally bright and yet pretty mellow. I'm sure his puppies would be great. But I'm really not interested in breeding puppies! And at 15 lbs. Arlo is no longer considered a "miniature" dachschund. He's too beefy to be an asset to any breeding program.

I think The Artist was just projecting his own anxiety.

The Star, on the other hand, is enthusiastic about the removal of the dog's testicles, which she thinks must get in the way of running. No Neuticles for our dog!
