I think Thanksgiving may be my favorite holiday. I love birthdays, mostly. Christmas is highly over-rated.

But what is not to love about a giant homecooked meal with the people you love? This year, as is typical, the Rancho Cherrio Thanksgiving will be just the four of us. Three who will eat turkey and gravy and one who has chosen not to have Tofurkey.

I made the menu yesterday afternoon. The Magician and I shopped at Whole Foods and Winco last night.

Best Dressing Ever
Cranberry Relish
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows
Steamed Broccoli
Dinner Rolls
Pumpkin Hazelnut Pie(s) with Whipped Cream

Today I will make the cranberry relish and the pies.
