My oldest kid, The Star, peppers her speech with the funny little phrase, "so yeah." It's sort of a placeholder, instead of "umm." She also ends many of her MySpace blogs with it. It's a rather lame conclusion to her rants about the difficulty of having parents and her confusion over whether she has a boyfriend or not.
I never thought I'd have any sort of internet relationships. I've never been in a chat room; I don't know how to IM; I have a MySpace registration solely to have access to my daughter's page. But now I'm no longer a silent lurker--I left a comment. And consequently I now have blog readers.
Readers! Yea!--and crap! Now I should write daily. I know how disappointed I am when I see that one of my favorite bloggers hasn't posted something new in days. I wouldn't want to disappoint. I'll do my best to write more regularly.
So yeah.
