Eliza's Blog 2.0

So I made the mistake of sharing my blog address in an email to a friend who is a consultant with my company. We've talked before about job hunting, graduate school, trashy airplane literature and families, and I thought he'd be amused by my ramblings. But then he emailed me back (about another topic altogether) by replying to my first email--and he copied my boss. My BOSS.

Now I like my boss very much. She a little older than I am, but her kids are about the same age. She's funny, liberal, well read and well educated. We're very compatible travelling and dining companions. And there was little in the blog that she couldn't have read--maybe just the mention that I'm casually looking for a new job.

But I don't want to have to censor myself in the future. I want to be more open in my blog, not less. I want to be all sorts of crazy--if it makes me feel better about my life, my family, my future, my job.

So I took it all down. No more JealousMistress blog (although I do still own jealousmistress.com and plan to make a Web site for The Artist.) Welcome to round two, where I try to post more often.

That sucks you had to move everything. Nothing like making a teeny tiny "slip" in mixing work with LIFE and having it bite you. Except for a precious few people, I don't share those lives either. Thanks for putting up a new site.
