I'm really bad about celebrating holidays. I think Christmas is too expensive. I haven't carved my pumpkin in years. I forgot to wear green on St. Patrick's Day and I totally missed Våffeldagen because of the move.
But we did buy Easter stuff this year. Chocolate bunnies, pastel malt balls, 99-cent Chinese-made baskets and plastic eggs. Festive!
Our family is faaaaar from religious. For us Easter, like Christmas, is a secular holiday based mostly on food and gift-giving traditions.
I'm off to boil eggs now...
